On February 28, 2026, Företagarna Nordmaling presented its Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Galea design received the honor from Alexandra Johansson, chair of Företagarna Nordmaling, at a local ceremony.

Being seen and recognized in the place where you operate is one of the most meaningful things you can experience as an entrepreneur. Nordmaling is a municipality where craftsmanship, drive, and community are valued highly. Standing on that stage as the representative of a digital design company felt both humbling and unexpected.

By combining strategic thinking with creative ambition and a genuine commitment, Galea design has helped companies find their voice, strengthen their identity, and take a natural place in the digital world.

The jury also highlighted that the work is not only about aesthetics but about direction, clarity, and long-term development. That’s exactly how we see our work: design is a tool for solving business problems, not an end in itself.

When Galea design was founded, the ambition was clear: to make premium web design and digital strategy accessible to Swedish companies regardless of size. Not just for Stockholm agencies and tech startups, but for the local entrepreneur, the family-owned business, and the ambitious newcomer.

Having that ambition recognized by the local community adds an extra dimension to what we do. Digital tools are not a big-city product. They are just as important in Nordmaling as in Stockholm — and just as powerful when they’re built right.

This award is also a recognition of our customers. It is the projects we’ve been trusted to lead — from Söderholms BBQ to Nordmalingshus, from Gustav Afsahi to the many companies we work with behind the scenes — that make the work meaningful.
